Did Jesus have a vision?

I would like to suggest, yes.

Check out Mark 8:31
He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again.

What can we learn from Jesus’ vision?

* This verse is the what of Jesus’ vision, what it looks like
* He actually has one
* He tells us his vision
* Who does he tell? His disciples, verse 27
* It is general – Son of Man: Jesus’ characteristic way of referring to himself. It is prominent in Daniel 7:13-14. It refers to a human agent who would execute God’s saving purpose as God’s representative. The Son of Man bears God’s authority both to forgive and to judge
* It dovetails into God’s plan to fix the problem of sin
* It will happen, he keeps to it
