Age range of leaders

In the school holidays I lead and did the talks on two, two day holiday clubs.
Monday 2 talks, Tuesday 2 talks, Wednesday off, then the same program for a different group of children Thursday, Friday.

We had a good group of leaders.

There might be a temptation to think we needed a bunch of Uni students who are on holidays as our leaders.
That's not the case.

The Bible doesn't suggest this as a leadership strategy.

We had Christian leaders of different ages. 12, 14, 32, 64, 21, 54, 51, 59, 80, 76.

We all looked after different parts of the program.
We all had different and complementing strengthens.
We all used the gifts and abilities that God has given us to serve in our program.

It was a joy to be involved in Gospel work with servants of all ages.

As one of the leaders present, I could not agree more!

G'day Andrew
Thanks for the comment.

After reflecting on the week I thought it would be beneficial to blog on this for our parishes in TAS.

Cheers James
